In the late 2000’s, Swizz Beatz became Creative Director for Reebok. His first line of business was to retro classic throwbacks that once made Reebok the voice of hip-hop culture. By adding rap stars Rick Ross and Tyga to the team, Reebok was back with a vengeance. Now, Reebok is ready to go into the vault and retro another innovative design that symbolize the 90’s.
Going back to the basics, Reebok is releasing another sneaker that managed to stand the test of time. The Reebok Mobious OG is a 90’s favorite that fits today’s urban fashion. However, the shoe stands out by being a hi-top (compared to a slew of low-top lifestyle sneaker trends). Wavy color blends black and red highlights each detail from the front toe to the outer sole. The outer sole follows the theme by having wavy ridges to create firm traction on the various ground. Uniquely, the Reebok logos are not shown on the back of the shoe. Instead, they are displayed on the tongue, front toe, and outer sole. If you are into having a retro appeal to your style, this sneaker is for you.
The Reebok Mobius OG will be out 07/27/2018 on www.dtlr.com and at select DTLR locations. Be sure to cop your pair while they are still available.
