Where to Buy the Women’s Air Jordan 2 Low “Gym Red and Dark Powder Blue”

The “UNC to Chicago” motif is one that Jordan Brand has explored on multiple occasions in recent years. The color combination – inspired by the hues of Michael Jordan’s alma mater and former NBA team, respectively – has appeared on two separate iterations of the Air Jordan 1, both of which are highly sought after. The colorway has yet to appear on the panels of the Air Jordan 2, but that’s about to change later this month.

The upcoming Air Jordan 2 Low “Gym Red and Dark Powder Blue” is the latest chapter in Jordan Brand’s “UNC to Chicago” story. It features a premium leather upper done in white. The pristine base is contrasted by bright “Gym Red” piping on the quarter panels – a nod to the Chicago Bulls. The UNC portion of the equation comes courtesy of soft “Dark Powder Blue” paneling on the heels. The upper is branded simply with Wings logos on the tongues.

Moving toward the soles, you’ll come across elegant “Sail”-colored rubber midsole units – the same color covers the majority of the sneaker’s TPU heel counters. “Gym Red” and “Dark Powder Blue” hits on the outsoles bring everything full circle.

Looking to cop a pair? The Air Jordan 2 Low “Gym Red and Dark Powder Blue” will be available on DTLR.com and DTLR stores on March 8th in women’s sizing.
