There’s a New “Cool Grey” in Town

Originally released in 1991, the Air Jordan 6 quickly became one of the most popular sneakers in Jordan’s signature lineup, with its sleek design and advanced technology. The fact that Mike wore them when he claimed his first NBA title didn’t hurt, either. And now, more than thirty years after its initial release, the historic basketball silhouette is back in a brand-new colorway.

This new "Cool Grey" Air Jordan 6 Retro takes inspiration from the popular Air Jordan 11 colorway of the same name. It features a mix of “Cool Grey” nubuck and white leather on the upper and is capped off with an icy, semi-translucent rubber outsole. Additional details include Jumpman-branded lace locks, “Air Jordan” lettering on the tongues, and embroidered Jumpman logos on the heels.

The design of the Air Jordan 6 was inspired by Jordan’s favorite sports car, with the smooth lines and perforated panels resembling the curves and ventilation of the iconic vehicle. These design elements, combined with the padded tongue and visible Air unit in the heel, make the Air Jordan 6 a comfortable and supportive sneaker that is perfect for all-day wear, on and off the court.
