The Reebok Answer IV Receives a “White/Black” Makeover

Fresh off the heels of the Reebok Question Mid “Blue Toe” release in August, the Boston-based sportswear brand is gearing up for another Allen Iverson–centered drop early this September. Later this month, the beloved Reebok Answer IV will be returning to shelves in a new “White/Black” colorway – a flip on the classic “Black/White” pair that A.I. wore in the 2001 NBA Finals.

The forthcoming release features a black tumbled leather upper, which covers majority of the quarter panels and lace shrouds. From there, stark white leather overlays run from the toeboxes to the heels, covering portions of the quarters in between. Lateral quarter panels come stamped with “I3” logos, while the heels feature “Iverson” spellout branding through a semi-translucent TPU window.

In a further nod to the NBA Hall of Famer, the sneaker comes equipped with special edition sockliners that highlight Iverson’s tattoos and feature signature details. Allen Iverson’s face also appears on the outsoles.

This colorway of the Reebok Answer IV is finished with split black-and-white midsoles made of DMX foam, which are capped by similarly colored rubber outsoles.

The Reebok Answer IV “White/Black” will be available on DTLR.com and DTLR stores on September 8th for a retail price of $160.
