Set To Drop: Air Jordan 9 "Gym Red"

The Air Jordan 9 originally released in 1993-94 and was designed by Tinker Hatfield. It was the first model to be released when Michael Jordan retired from professional basketball to pursue a new career in baseball. Part of the Air Jordan line, the Air Jordan 9 has undergone several memorable color schemes over the years. The Air Jordan 9 "Gym Red" hopes to add to the legacy that is the Air Jordan 9.

Many of Nike and Jordan's signature shoes feature the iconic colorway of red, white, and black. The Chicago 1s and OG Air Max 1s come to mind. Similarly, this Air Jordan 9 "Gym Red" is dressed in a white, gym red, and black color scheme. This Air Jordan 9 features a white leather upper with red patent leather overlays. There is black detailing on the eyelets, tongue, back pull tab, and Jumpman branding atop a white rubber sole. On the backside, "23" is highlighted in a bright white.
