Heating Up With The Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red”

Like most veteran sneakerheads, I’ve copped more than 1 pair of the same colorway before. The casual sneaker shopper might’ve done it because their original pair is damaged or lost. While hypebeasts cop multiple to trade or resell, true sneakerheads buy due to the distinct details. Brand Jordan is notoriously known for making either extreme improvements or subtle alterations. These various changes are clear distinctions that separate an OG from a re-release. You’ll be surprised at how a blank heel can instantly be enhanced by a Nike Swoosh. With hopes to heat up the Winter, Brand Jordan is slated to give this era a chance to cop a fan favorite.

Coming from the signature vault is the Retro 4 spotless as the wavy stitched overlays of premium White leather. Along with the side panels and the frontal tongue is waffle shaped ridges netted for breathability. Nike kept things fairly familiar by installing the classic ‘Air’ unit to go with the quadruple stacked rubber midsoles and outsoles. Familiarity continues, as the ‘Nike Air’ logo is stamped onto the heel tabs. Jumpman leaps into action, soaring above the fancy ‘Flight’ scripted logo on the embroidery stitched tongue. An endless amount of microscopic stars fill the toe tip in Tech Grey, with groovy zig-zag ridges immediately after. Last but not least, Fire Red heats the rectangular eyelets, lining, and logo text.

The Air Jordan Retro 4 ‘Fire Red’ release on November 28, 2020, and retail for $200 USD both in stores and online at DTLR.com
