From Paris with Love: Air Jordan 5 Retro Low “PSG”

Jordan Brand has been working in partnership with world-renowned football club, Paris Saint-Germain since 2018. At first, the sportswear powerhouse was focused primarily on designing the team’s kits, but over the years, that relationship has grown include “PSG”-inspired Air Jordan retros, including the Air Jordan 7, Air Jordan 4, and Air Jordan 5, among others.

Jordan typically releases at least one “PSG” sneaker every year – this year is no different. In early September, Jordan Brand is set to drop a “PSG” Air Jordan 5 Low.

This forthcoming iteration of the Air Jordan 5 Low features an ashy “Pumice”-colored suede upper with red-white-and-blue hits laced throughout. First, the side-panel windows feature “Paname”-branded tags done in the colors of the French flag. The Parisian theme is furthered by “Game Royal” Jumpman logos at the tongues and bright red lace-locks.

The sneaker’s most interesting detail can be found at the heels, which come covered in “waxed” Jumpman labels that are reminiscent of the branding from the 2010 “Bin” Air Jordan 9. The upper is anchored to black foam midsoles with contrast “shark-teeth” details and heel-side Max Air units. Icy, semi-translucent rubber outsoles, which reveal co-branded PSG x Jordan logos, complete the colorway.

The Air Jordan 5 Low “PSG” will be available on DTLR.com and at DTLR stores on September 3rd for a retail price of $200.
