A Closer Look At The Air Jordan Retro 13 Court Purple

Jordan Brand is kicking off the new year with an Air Jordan 13 Retro dressed mainly in Black with Court Purple accents. If you’ve been following along, you know that I’m a big fan of the Air Jordan 13’s. In my opinion, they are one of the most detailed Air Jordans in the entire lineup. The whiskers, pods, and hologram eyes just set this shoe apart. Tinker Hatfield has designed a lot of great silhouettes but the 13’s are some of his best work.
As I previously mentioned, this particular release features a predominately Black color scheme. The Black leather toe works back to Black reflective mesh uppers feature the cat-like dimples the 13’s are famous for. The suede tongue is also dressed in Black and the same goes for the sole and “pods” as I like to call them. The midsoles provide a pop of color dressing suede in Court Purple along with the lateral suede stripe running down the shoe and wrapping up by the heal. A Court Purple Jumpman on the tongue puts the finishing touches on this pair.
