French Montana “I Don’t Really Care” Music Video

When it comes to making a club banger, French Montana has no problem keeping the party lit. Through the years, he’s made anthems like “Shot Caller”, “Ain’t Worried About Nothin”, “Pop That” and countless hits with rap royalty by the likes of Lil Wayne, Drake, and Rick Ross. Despite him consecutively dropping smash records that people know and love, his reputation as a respected MC has been questioned throughout his illustrious rap career. Recently, a viral internet Squid Game meme caused him to publicly respond online. With the meme stating, “For the next game, you need to name FIVE French Montana songs with no features.” Off the top of the dome, I would more than likely have had a brain fart under such pressure. To be honest, thinking of 5 is not as easy as I thought to think of songs with no features. French Montana is feeling disrespected because most of us have caught amnesia. He cares about his craft, but at the end of the day, he doesn’t care.

In the video, the Bronx boss stands on top of the highest skyscraper in the heart of New York City. From instantly appearing, French jumps off the ledge soon as he says the catchphrase “I Don’t Really Care!”. Throughout the visual, Montana acts out cultural moments in time that brings to have what he describes on record. He considers himself the biggest since Wallace, so he and Diddy are driving backward in a convertible while wearing Versace shirts (paying homage to B.I.G.’s “Hypnotized” hit). Other scenes include hilarious celebrity lookalikes standing in to demonstrate his influence to bring A-listers like Khloe Khardashian to the projects. My favorite scene was when French dressed like The Weekend accepting an award. By getting snubbed by the 2018 Grammy’s for his #1 hit “Unforgettable” featuring Swae Lee, he is more confident than ever to bring home 3 for the family next year. Ultimately, he doesn’t care (to be clear).

The Young Salsa Coke Boy is on his proving he “Don’t Really Care”. Which scene was the coolest to you? Tell us how you feel in the comments below.
