This pair gives me chills for several reasons. One, it’s my personal favorite signature Air Jordan design, and two, it’s in one of my favorite Jordan colorways, Obsidian. Consider me already in line to get the latest Air Jordan 13 Retro Obsidian. Let’s dive into the specifics of this well-designed pair.
Mixing in leather and suede and starting at the top of the tongue, down to the toe, all the way back to the heal, and up and around the ankle collar, Obsidian wraps the entire shoe. The side panels featuring the infamous “dimples” are White leather adding a nice contrast to the Obsidian. The midsoles are a mix of Obsidian with the “pods” dressed in White. The Dark Powder Blue sole and Jumpman accents leave a little room for interpretation as to where the colorway truly derives its roots from. A strong case could be made for UNC where Jordan played collegiate ball, the OG Washington Wizards colors where Jordan took the court after coming out of retirement, or a Charlotte Hornets nod which Michael is an owner. Whatever the case, I’m a fan of the color choice.
If you want a pair of the Air Jordan 13 Retro Obsidians, you’ll have to get in line behind me. They drop in a full family size run this Saturday, September 18th with the men’s retailing for $190. For the latest raffle and release information, be sure to bookmark our blog and follow our social.
