When is Donda Dropping?
Kanye West constantly works to take his musical artistry and fashion creativity to new levels with every release. From his glow-in-the-dark Air Yeezy’s at the 2008 Grammy’s to his Scarlet Louis Vuitton Don’s at the 2010 VMA’s, he always shows up and shows out. Following tradition, he went viral once again by giving people something to talk about and listen to. With his upcoming album “Donda” slated for release, fans are excited for Yeezy season to fully bloom.
With a fluffy Gap bomber jacket, leather pants, and innovative ski mask, he walked into the Mercedes-Benz Stadium with a pair of Yeezy Boot 1050s that have never been seen before. Monumental for his inclusive listening parties, he filled up the Atlanta stadium for the world to hear what will be one of the biggest albums to drop in 2021. The ground floor was his elaborate yet ghostly stage as he strolled around while onlookers stare in astonishment. Snippets online display an experience that made many rejoice in unison. It’s a giving that the production, melodic riffs, and charismatic lines are what make Ye one of the most impactful artists of this generation. But it was a last-minute feature by Jay-Z that had the crowd in a complete frenzy!
With so much anticipation for “Donda”, everyone has the same question hovering over their heads. When is the album dropping?! With a two-year hiatus since his “Jesus is King” album in 2019, the world is ready to hear Ye talk that talk with no limits. I would love for it to drop this week to put my music subscription to good use. Whether the project is out next week, next month, or next year, the world will be anticipating for Mr. West to put out what the people have been waiting for.
