When you’re at the top of the game, you have nowhere to go but down. With the success of the Migos triumphant rise to superstardom, people that once cheered for your come up are now praying for your downfall. After two #1 albums in Culture & Culture 2, the idea of dismantling to pursue solo careers came to mind and ultimately fruition. Individually, all 3 members of the Migos decided to drop solo efforts after obtaining such group success. Quavo’s “Quavo Huncho”, Takeoff’s “The Last Rocket”, and Offset’s “Father of 4” showed and proved that the trifecta had no problem holding their own respectfully. Now, it’s almost time to come back together and give the ‘Culture’ what we’ve all been waiting for.
The third installment to the hip-hop trilogy, “Culture 3” has been rumored to be in the works. After legal issues with their label Quality Control Music and public break-ups/relationships media consistently inquire about, fans want to know what is going on in their lives currently. At one point, things were looking like dismantling was due to the price of fame, business affairs, and personal endeavors. After such a hiatus, Migos started resurfacing as a collective again, showing the world that nothing can destroy family loyalty to the Migo gang. The first single, “Straightenin” instantly clears up any misconceptions the public may have regarding their inseparable bond. Forming back together like Voltron, Migos makes it clear that the group is back better than ever. A fleet of exotic whips slowly rolls into the parking lot to meet up and build with the team. From politicking at the boarded-up trap house to grabbing their ‘Sour Cream with a Dab of Ranch” Rap Snacks out of the A-1 Mart, the crew is back better than ever.
