Reebok is paying their respect to Hall of Famer, Allen Iverson with the release of the Reebok Question Mid designed to resemble the Philadelphia 76ers’ old-school alternate gold uniforms. There’s no doubt that, outside of the Jordan franchise, Iverson’s Reebok line ranks among one of the most iconic series of signatures series. Iverson’s first signature shoe, The Question Mid was sleek in design which very much resembled the way Iverson moved on the hardwoods and this latest pair comes full of unique design details.
If you can’t picture the throwback 76ers’ road jersey, let me refresh your memory. The jersey was all-Black with red trim around the collar and sleeves. “Sixers” was written across the chest in White outlined in Flash Red. A Blue and White “swoosh” underneath Sixers trailed a Gold basketball. Now, hopefully, you can see the resemblance between the upcoming Reebok Question Mid and the old school uniforms. The uppers have a satin finish colored in Black while the Flash Red accents are found in the piping and stitch work around a White Reebok logo. The infamous suede toe in Gold along with the heal is both a nod to the uniform’s basketball. A White midsole shows off Reebok’s hexagon cushioning system in red which all sits atop a Gold gum rubber sole to finish off the look.
While it’s not a classic colorway pulled from Reebok’s vault, these are certainly a pair you don’t want to sleep on. Be sure to keep it locked in on our social media and website for the latest release information.
