Introducing the New Balance 990V5 “Sauce”

Spice it up with this firey, bold and delicious New Balance 990V5.

One of the most loyal and geographical areas resides in the heart of the DMV area. With this impressive combination of the area’s finest foods and footwear, New Balance introduces a flavorful colorway inspired by Washington, D.C.’s famous sauce. The red sauce of goodness was established in the District of Columbia that pairs equally well with chicken, ribs, fries, and…sneakers.

Behind the Colorway

Hot, hot, hot! This sneaker features fiery red and orange hues throughout the entire design. The namesake is compared to a volcanic eruption generated geothermal energy — or simply the feeling your body gets when eating spicy foods. The 990V5 silhouette comes in deeper shades of reds throughout, representing the first release of the new decade.

It is safe to say that New Balance has a personal interest in supplying the wardrobe for their life long customers. The 990 has Molten Lava Red suede upper to match with the same color toe mesh, sock box, and shoe accents. The encap at the heel has a strip of red that crossing between the White midsole. Gum bottoms are a nice touch to lace the outsole with a sense of versatility. Lastly, the legendary “N” logo is reflective to shine for onlookers to stare in amazement.

The New Balance 990 “Sauce”  is out on 2/13 onwww.dtlr.com and at local DTLR/VILLA locations.
