Set To Drop: Air Jordan Retro 13 “Chinese New Year”
You might be ready to hit a gym hard to earn that summer body. You also might be hoping for is a work promotion or vacation you have your sights on. I’m talking about New Year’s resolutions– the most celebrated event that’s been taking the world by storm for years. Like clockwork, Brand Jordan is scheduled to release a ‘Chinese New Year’ in the iconic Retro 13 silhouette.
What a pleasant surprise by the creative shapes and patterns, and even more surprised at what tricks Jordan pulls out of their hats. The White-Sail upper has a flowing style of circles and diamonds that are inspired by the country’s currency. Brown Nubuck is found on the midsole and pink rubber outsoles left a pretty appeal on the finished look. Last but not least, the Jordan logos are all inverted with Black/White that highlights the “Ying and Yang” concept of duality.
