Some subtle classics to some outrageously trendy sneakers grace the streets during this season’s fashion week: NYC, Paris, and Copenhagen.
The boundaries are always being pushed on the runway and in the streets during fashion week. From footwear to accessories, attendees hit up the top designers for garments from formal suiting to the latest and greatest in streetwear. Extending to footwear, these cities illuminate the great variety in styles seen proudly displayed over the past week, offering a celebration of the current fashion sphere’s favored sneaker silhouettes.
While runway looks are all-the-rage and will most likely dictate what style of clothing we’ll be buying for the foreseeable year, street styles are what we really crave.
Continuing to prove their status at the popular table, Nike sneakers were spotted in droves. Again, with Virgil and his path towards merging Nike into high fashion, the Swoosh branding was hard to miss this year. Other brands like ASICS, adidas, Comme Des Garcons, Balenciaga, Raf Simmons and many more rendered in the maximalist staple of sneaker culture this year.
As we continue to be influenced by the fashion world, more trends will come and go, and more styles will be blended together. This healthy dose of branded styling will hopefully ensure an elegant offering with a twist of classic sportswear aesthetics. Check below to see some of our favorites:
