Custom Cleats on Display, Elite Performance Follows

Taking a look back at some of the best cleats from the past years in honor of the upcoming NFL season.

In the sneaker community, customizing sneakers has always been a way to express yourself. Whether it’s hand drawn, painted, printed, or some other way, custom sneakers always look cool and bring more value to the sneaker. It’s as if the artist is adding a part of themself to the shoe.

As the 2019 NFL season approaches, athletes are gearing up for the latest trends or to make their mark on the field. Although a player’s performance ultimately depicts how great they are, it doesn’t hurt to be able to show off their personalized cleats. With that being said, here are some cool cleats to get you ready for the upcoming NFL season.

Due to Nike’s partnership with the NFL, Nike is a more common sight in footwear and apparel. However, there are some few outliers, such as the Yeezy 350 ‘Turtle Dove’ cleats. Under Armour and adidas are two brands hoping to make a bigger name for themselves in the football realm.

With Jordan transcending from basketball to other sports, they are no stranger to dominating the footwear game. So when the Jordan brand started to pull in athletes under their name, it was only a matter of time before their most iconic silhouettes became cleats. Not only will football players have grails on their feet, they’ll be playing with confidence.

These are just a few from the hundreds of custom sneakers that have graced the NFL. Trendsetters and sneakerheads alike will come out with creative, functional, and unique cleats. There’s more to come, too. As the league grows, so will the aspects that make it fun to watch.
