Rapper YBN Cordae is on the rise to becoming the next voice in mainstream music with his latest album release “The Lost Boy” and on his tour of finding himself in the business, he is also taking time out to give back to the community. Puma and YBN Cordae have partnered with DTLR to show some love to youth in two cities, as he tours his debut album.
The first stop took place August 1st in Chicago, as 15 lucky youth were given the opportunity to have an exclusive shopping spree experience at our DTLR store courtesy of Cordae. This was a private event where the attendees were picked up in a private sprinter van and taken to the DTLR on 87th and Dan Ryan. There they were able to pick out items courtesy of YBN Cordae’s tab!
The second stop took place August 15th in Prince George’s County, Maryland, Cordae’s hometown, where he distributed uniforms to his former Alma mater, Thurgood Marshall Middle School at the DTLR store in Iverson Mall. The schools principal contacted the 6th, 7th and 8th graders to come and received a free uniform, pizza and photo ops with the artist.
DTLR was proud to partner with Puma and YBN Cordae to give back to these youth as they enter the 2019-2020 school year and we look forward to offering more opportunities to the youth via our brand partners and artist!
