A timeless silhouette for the nostalgic soul.
I was 5 years old when my dad bought me a pair of the New Balance 574. My dad was an avid NB fan, so I inherited the brand loyalty. Grey suede with a reflective N shining in the sun is a sight to see. This appreciation was built with care because of the soft suede fabric and the long-lasting rubber soles. Despite later releases, I was honestly satisfied with my NB 574. That was until I saw the NB 990.
The NB 990 picked up where the NB 574 left off. The classic suede is now upgraded with a more durable texture built for longevity. Mesh is strategically placed in needed areas of ventilation. In terms of the soles, NB implemented Ortholite technology for superior comfort. Seamless blends of grey and silver are infused in a silhouette model designed for a runner. Respectably, the signature N is reflective in any direction.
Historically, New Balance is arguably the most popular tennis shoe brand in the DC, MD, and VA area. By the look of things, the culture will continue to keep it classic for years to come.
