2019 NBA All-Star Weekend | Stars Aligning In Charlotte

NBA All-Star weekend is here and there are tons of things to look forward to this year in Charlotte. 

While the actual game will take place this Sunday, February 17th, the festivities start tonight with the 2019 NBA Rising Stars Challenge. The league’s best rookies and second-year players will take the court in a U.S vs World format.

The Rising Stars Challenge is sure to have plenty of highlights this year as it has in years past. It was in this very game back in 2014 where Dion Waiters and Tim Hardaway Jr. put on a show in one of the memorable moments in All-Star weekend history.

2019 NBA All-Star Game

With all the challenges and competitions out of the way, the true star power of NBA All-Star weekend will take place Sunday night, February 17th. The two captains for this years All-Star game are Lakers star, LeBron James, and the Bucks-Greek Freak, Giannas Antetokounmpo. The two players recently selected their squads in a playground style format and are ready to go Sunday night. If you are looking for a defensive matchup, you may want to change the channel or not even tune in at all. Both teams are loaded with talent so as expected, there will be plenty of highlight worthy moments just about every time they go up or down the court.
