Here are some of our favorite looks and attendees during the 2019 Paris Fashion Week.
The cold weather didn’t stop the fashion from heating up during Paris Fashion Week this year. But if you don’t go all out during this occasion, there’s probably no point in attending. (Other than it being PARIS!) In the midst of a cold snap, denizens of fashion week are still dressed to seriously impress.
This year we were particularly impressed by the amount of layering prowess and bold accessories. Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White™ label stood out as a favorite followed by notable pieces from Heron Preston and some unearthed grails from Raf Simons. Pleasantly approved to see lots of the aforementioned labels and trends we’ve been seeing in recent style culture: heritage logos, clashing prints, lots of plaid and super-luxe coats (my favorite trend).
Notable figures among the crowd included Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, Aleali May, Jonah Hill, David Beckham and so much more! Patiently waiting for my invite…
Virgil Abloh continues to amaze the fans with his influence in menswear, specifically with Louis Vuitton. The show itself was just as captivating as the guests, with a Michael Jackson theme and Alton Mason tumbling down the runway in all -purple ensemble. Now that the world knows Abloh’s yellow brick road led to such a mesmerizing event, the future looks even brighter. Timothee Chalamet and Frank Ocean were in the audience.
Definitely a fan-favorite, Virgil Abloh succeeded in pleasing the crowd with his Off-White streetwear brand. Most notably, Playboy Carti and Offset walked, and it’s good the show got the latter to take a break from Cardi B hunting in order to rock a lilac coat.
The adidas Originals Makerlab “Here to Create” showcased colorful football vibes. The German-based sportswear brand partnered with British Fashion Council and council Ambassador David Beckham, London-based designers Priya Ahluwalia, Paolina Russo, and Nicholas Daley at the Garage Amelot.
