Philly’s ‘Made In America’ music festival delivers another fun-filled weekend of great performers + positive vibes.
Made In America is nothing but two days of non-stop music and entertainment. Tunes from all genres of music including hip-hop, EDM, R&B and Rock bring people from all over the world for a weekend of great sounds and even more powerful energy.
Follow along as we take you through the DTLR VILLA behind-the-scenes tour of the MIA weekend festivities; featuring some of our favorite performers from both days:
Meek was one of the headliners on the main stage Saturday night. And man, it was a sight to see! Philly was so ready to see their hometown hero give them a beautiful set to close out the evening. Meek never fails to uplift and hype the crowd. It’s always amazing to see!
What a site for sore eyes! Janelle Monae’s set was beautifully choreographed down to the outfits and set design. This empowering superstar was such a refreshing break from the heavy hip-hop hitters.
Pusha T graced us with his presence by opening up with an acapella version of ‘Life Of Adonis.’ All the hits were played from ‘Mercy’ to the Clipse’s classic, ‘Grindin.’
Sheck Wes is a Harlem native that has the country going crazy with his hit ‘Mo Bamba.’ I have to admit, this was probably the best performance of the festival. Not only was the crowd going wild, Sheck has some of the best on-stage energy I’ve ever seen. No wonder why Travis Scott signed him to Cactus Jack.
Rich The Kid blew up this past year with his album, ‘The World Is Yours.’ Even though there has been some bad blood between him and Lil Uzi, surprisingly, Philly showed him a lot of love. You could really tell that the Plug Walk rapper was really enjoying his set and just having a good time.
Miguel was the best R&B performer on the bill in my opinion. He can sing his heart out while moving gracefully around the stage. Definitely saw a lot of boyfriends glaring at their girls in awe.
This was the first time I’ve ever heard of Sabrina Claudio. I was actually dragged to her set by a friend and was so glad I went. She had an amazing voice and a great vibe to see live. Definitely turned me into a fan.
Alshon Jeffrey and Rodney Mcleod having a friendly game of NBA 2k19 in the American Airlines VIP tent.
