Villa Traxx, Vol .006

Get ready to bring the heat to your 4th of July cookout.

In this week’s playlist, the theme revolves around getting pumped for the Fourth. Some of these sound like the beach, some are full of energy, but in the end, your holiday will be as exciting as those fireworks!

.006 | seven/four

All Mine x Kanye West

Let’s be honest here, the hook is what makes this song so good. We didn’t know who Ant Clemons was before ye came out, but Kanye did what Kanye does and brought out some new talent. We’re here for a good time, not a long time.

I Heard You Got Too Litt Last Night x SAINt JHN

When you’re hanging out with friends and family, you need something to vibe to. This is that track you’re looking for. The mellow ambience is a great mood setter and one to get you ready for the night.

Shooters x Tory Lanez

Do you hear that? No, it’s not the fireworks, yet. Tory Lanez has brought the intensity with this banger. We’re ready to get turnt up, so you better be too. If those trumpets aren’t enough to get you off your feet, we got more fire coming your way.

beibs in the trap x Travis Scott

It’s hard to follow up a track like Shooters, but with Travis Scott, anything is possible. With Toronto’s own Nav on the hook, this is one smooth track. Flex on your friends, have fun, enjoy the moment. That’s all that matters.

Fukk Sleep x A$AP Rocky & FKA twigs

You asked for some heat? This unexpected collaboration is exactly the mindset you need for a holiday party. Who needs sleep anyway? After a heavy beat like that, I wouldn’t want to go to sleep anyway.

Shade x IAMDDB

It’s a bit ironic to add a British artist to a 4th of July playlist, but this track definitely belongs here. With a trap-influenced melody like that, your holiday is sure to have plenty of excitement. A soothing voice like IAMDDB’s and a flavorful production–what more could you want?

Don’t Matter To Me x Drake & Michael Jackson

Drake recently dropped a new album, and one of the standout tracks featured the King of Pop himself, Michael Jackson! We’re in need of good vibes for the American holiday, and what better way than to bring out an all-time great. Rest in peace, legend.

Grey Luh x Berhana

Don’t forget your towel with these massive beach vibes headed your way. Those vocals on the hook are pretty insane, and they go hand in hand when you’re trying to relax. Berhana’s voice soothes you to a place of bliss.

All Night (feat. Knox Fortune) x Chance the Rapper

Chance’s voice is recognizable from almost anywhere, mainly because he keeps making bops like these. In the true spirit of an American holiday, that chorus is probably what you’ll be doing. Who cares? Party all night, folks.

American Boy x Estelle & Kanye West

We’re taking it back to the past with our final track in this playlist, and for good reason, too. Although this track is a decade old, it alludes to the holiday we’re celebratin’. Estelle sings about wanting to come to big cities in the U.S. like New York and Los Angeles. Chicago-born Kanye brings his bars to complete this jawn.

Happy Fourth, stay safe folks!
