Do You Love the #InMyFeelingsChallenge?

Undeniably tempted to bust a move as soon as the beat drops. Are you riding with this new challenge?

Ending out last week, Drake has continued to stay at No.1 on the Billboard 200 Chart for the second consecutive week since its release on June 29, 2018. A title that isn’t surprising for the megastar artist from Toronto, Canada, although the doubled sided/25 track release hasn’t had as many hits as expected aside from the single “In My Feelings”; as of yet.

In the meantime, Drake’s single “In My Feelings” has skyrocketed his album into the diverse world of viral media after comedian, TheShiggyShow (@theshiggster), gave viewers brief choreography to Drake’s single to ignite what is now known as “Do The Shiggy” (#DoTheShiggy) or “In My Feelings Challenge” (#InMyFeelingsChallenge).

TheShiggyShow’s short 31-second video has had over 5 million views on his personal Instagram, 1.16 million on Twitter, and countless remakes from celebrities across the board like Odell Backham Jr., Ciara, Kevin Hart, and Will Smith to name a few. Although, some of the greatest remakes have been from fans wanting to get in on the fun. Various TV stations like News 12 in Brooklyn, Fox 29 Philly, and Good Day LA have also picked up on the viral sensation, reporting on the challenge as an undeniable feel-good piece.

In such a short time it seems like social media is beyond flooded with videos, some better than others, but has the challenge gotten out of hand as it continues to gain stamina? Possibly, but for now, it is still enjoyable to see people truly excel at the fluid choreography and of course, it is more than a good time to belt the lyrics “Kiki, Do You Love Me“!
