Nike released the images for Kendrick Lamar’s highly anticipated sneaker which is dropping on Jan. 26.
The West Coast rapper first previewed the kicks himself during his halftime performance at this year’s college football championship game. In honor of K. Dot’s fourth and latest studio release, the silhouette of the sneaker has the word DAMN boldly placed along the side.
The premium white leather upper is boldly stands out next to the red etching that engraves the word DAMN, the tongue and and midsole are accompanied by a splash of black hue.
Lamar left his Reebok partnership in the summer of 2017 and teamed up with Nike in August of the same year.
The Nike Cortez “Kenny 1” is set to release on Fri. Jan. 26 for the set retail price of $100.
