Sunday Night Football | Philadelphia Eagles Off To Great Start

Peter Sawan |

An impressive game last night took place between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington, D.C. Red Skins and gave victory to the Eagles. Let’s start with young quarterback, Carson Wentz, showed off a little magic giving way for some creation and improv when plays don’t always go as planned. The dramatic scenery was excitement to the fans and left Washington bewildered, at some points. This really set the tone for the team going forward in the season. Remember though folks, we got 16 more games left. Can young buck Wentz really handle all of that pressure?

Probably the most unexpected development Week 1 for the birds happened when Ronald Darby was left with an ankle injury. “QB Kirk Cousins and WR Terrelle Pryor (6 catches, 66 yards) were kept in check, and second-year player Jalen Mills came up with a big INT.”¬†Does this mean Darby will be out for a while? All in all, the Eagles acquitted themselves well against Washington on the defensive front.
