On Sunday, May 21st, VILLA’s VP of Marketing, Setfree Richardson, and Manager of Community Engagement, Rodney Robbins, participated in an interactive panel discussion for the Institute of Hip Hop Entrepreneurship. Setfree and Rodney shared knowledge about VILLA’s history and values, innovative practices in marketing and corporate social responsibility, and their experience working in the retail & sneaker industry, in general.
IHHE is a 9-month program for Philadelphians between the ages of 18 and 32 using hip hop’s best practices to empower enterprising young people from nontraditional backgrounds with the skills necessary to take an idea and make it a reality. Each weekend, students participate in the course designed and taught by renowned creative professionals, businesspeople, technologists, and musicians.
