R.I.P. to, arguably, one of the greatest rappers of all time, Notorious B.I.G., as we celebrate the 20th anniversary of his death. The lyrical assassin blessed Brooklyn rap don spent a short time in the spotlight making hits after hits with Ready to Die and Life After Death, alongside Puffy, Mase and Junior M.A.F.I.A. Fortunately, his music lives on because he left his mark so strong as the illest to ever grace a mic. We miss you, Big.
The Timberland boot became synonymous in the hip-hop culture back in the early ’90s. While Timberland was serving their core customer base of blue-collar workers, the big city’s hustlers and rappers were wearing them as a style statement. Not only did B.I.G. pair his many stylish Timbs with his Coogi sweaters and Versace shades, but he often rapped about them in almost all of his rhymes.
